Angel Policy – The Sassy Club
We love seeing our products used in your creations and are excited to support small businesses and creators using The Sassy Club designs.
This Angel Policy outlines how our products may be used for handmade items sold by independent creators.
✅ What You Can Do
You may sell handmade items using The Sassy Club products under the following conditions:
- Products must be personally handmade by you (the original purchaser).
- Designs must be used to create original finished goods (cards, crafts, etc.).
- You may sell your finished products in reasonable quantities, including small business use.
- Limited use of assistants or small team members is allowed, provided all items remain handmade and not mass-produced.
- You may sell items on platforms like Etsy, your own website, or in-person markets.
🚫 What You Cannot Do
To protect our artwork and brand:
- Do not digitize, scan, copy, trace, or reproduce our designs in any form (including SVGs, printables, or digital files).
- Do not use our designs for:
- Logos
- Trademarks
- Branding or promotional materials
- Do not mass manufacture items (e.g., factories, print-on-demand, outsourcing production).
- Do not sell stamped/die-cut images as standalone items or supplies.
- Do not redistribute, share, or resell our products or designs in any format.
📦 Production Guidelines
- All items must be handmade (hand-stamped, hand-assembled, etc.)
- Small batch production is allowed, but must not involve industrial-scale manufacturing
- Commercial use is allowed only for physical end products, not digital or reusable assets
🏷️ Credit & Branding
- Credit is appreciated but not required
(Example: “Created using designs from The Sassy Club”)
⚖️ Legal + Rights
- All designs remain the intellectual property of The Sassy Club and are protected by copyright laws.
- You are responsible for your own business practices, listings, and customer interactions
- The Sassy Club is not liable for disputes related to your products
🛍️ Selling on Etsy & Online Marketplaces
We proudly support small business owners who sell handmade goods on platforms like Etsy and similar marketplaces.
Platform Disclaimer
While many customers choose to sell on Etsy, The Sassy Club does not specifically recommend or endorse selling on Etsy or any third-party marketplace.
- Marketplace platforms frequently update and enforce policies, especially regarding intellectual property
- Listings may be removed, and shops may be suspended or banned at any time, with or without warning
By choosing to sell on these platforms, you acknowledge that:
- You are fully responsible for your shop, listings, and compliance with all marketplace rules
- The Sassy Club is not liable for:
- Removed listings
- Intellectual property claims
- Shop suspensions or bans
You may sell handmade items created with The Sassy Club products on these platforms, subject to the following guidelines:
✅ Allowed
- You may sell handmade, physical finished goods created using our stamps and products
- Your listings must represent your own handmade creations, not the underlying design itself
- You may operate an Etsy shop or similar online store as a small business
- You may photograph and market your finished products using your own branding
⚠️ Important: Pop Culture & Inspired Designs
Many of our designs are inspired by pop culture, trends, and common phrases, but:
- You are responsible for ensuring your listings do not infringe on trademarks or copyrights owned by third parties
- Do not use:
- Movie, TV show, or celebrity names
- Brand names or trademarked phrases
- Hashtags intended to target protected intellectual property
Even if a design feels “inspired by” something recognizable, your product listing (title, tags, description) must remain generic and original
🚫 Not Allowed on Etsy
- Selling digital downloads, SVGs, or printable versions of our designs
- Using our designs in print-on-demand services (Printify, Printful, etc.)
- Uploading or reproducing our artwork in any digital format
- Selling stamped images, die cuts, or partial components as supplies
💡 Best Practices for Etsy Sellers
- Focus on unique finished products (cards, gift items, etc.)
- Use original photography (no mockups using our artwork digitally)
- Write listings that describe the product, not the inspiration source
- When in doubt, keep your branding and descriptions generic and creative
⚖️ Responsibility Disclaimer
The Sassy Club is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any third-party brands, franchises, or intellectual property.
By selling on platforms like Etsy, you acknowledge that you are solely responsible for complying with their policies and all applicable intellectual property laws.
